A non-digital blood pressure monitor, also known as a manual sphygmomanometer, is a device used to measure blood pressure using the auscultatory method. It consists of an inflatable cuff, a pressure gauge, and a stethoscope. The cuff is wrapped around the upper arm and inflated to stop blood flow, and then slowly deflated while listening for sounds through the stethoscope, which indicate systolic and diastolic pressures.
