An aneroid blood pressure (BP) cuff is a manual device used to measure blood pressure, typically consisting of an inflatable cuff, a bulb for inflating the cuff, a manometer for measuring pressure, and tubing connecting the cuff and manometer. It uses a stethoscope to listen for sounds as the cuff is deflated and to determine systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings, which are then displayed on the manometer’s dial.
