A dial sphygmomanometer, also known as an aneroid sphygmomanometer, is a device used to measure blood pressure. It consists of an inflatable cuff, a hand-held device with a dial, and a bulb pump. The cuff is wrapped around the upper arm, and the pump inflates the cuff, which then allows for pressure readings to be taken. The dial displays the pressure readings in mmHg.
