Thermoplastic masses are manufactured at high temperatures, and then the materials are either dried and palletized or pre-formed to the desired shape of special road markings by using specialized vehicles, unlike the truck spraying paint on the roads. The application requires re-heating of the thermoplastic to about 200 °C to melt it.
